- Most people believe that having a hybrid will automatically mean that they save a lot of money. - The future of driving is the hybrid. It is unlikely that everyone is going to be driving a hybrid in the future even though we will probably see more of them appearing on the roads over the next few years. If you ask me, the advances in technology surrounding the electric car will make this more likely to be the future of driving. There will definitely be a shake up of the motor industry over the next few years as more and more electric cars start to appear on the market. Even though you will save on petroleum fuels with a hybrid car; you have to remember that it still dpends on the use of petroleum fuels.

- The battery power in a hybrid will keep it going even if you run out of petrol. The battery is charged by the larger fuel based motor and will only keep going for a modest amount of time so this should not be believed either.
